Lakeview Elementary School

Through the Mahopac Central School District's partnership with Putnam | Northern Westchester BOCES, specialist educators are frequently invited into Mahopac's classrooms to teach students about science, nature, and many other topics. Last week, Patrick Harmon from the Center for Environmental Education at PNW BOCES visited Lakeview Elementary School to work with fourth-grade students. Students learned about the Native Americans native to our region by seeing and engaging with artifacts, furs, and more.
